Meet our New Director, Noam Bentov!

A native of Hertzliya, Israel, Noam is thrilled to join Hopkins Hillel as the Executive Director. He is most excited about building strong relationships with the staff, the lay leaders, the University community and, most importantly, the Hopkins students. Noam comes to Hopkins from Towson University Hillel, where he was the Assistant Director for two years before becoming the Executive Director in the Fall of 2015. Prior to Towson, Noam served in a number of roles in different Jewish organizations.  He was the Assistant Director of the Israel Fellows program at Hillel International in Washington, DC, an Israel Fellow at the University of Florida Hillel, and has worked for several summer camps and Jewish federations. He is passionate about living an exciting and dynamic Jewish life, and believes that in order to do so, exciting and dynamic Jewish communities are essential. Noam received a BA in Political Science and History from Tel Aviv University and an MA in Leadership in Jewish Education and Communal Service at Towson University. Noam lives in Columbia, MD with his wife, Becca, and their two children, Eitan and Lily.
