Building Information

The Smokler Center for Jewish Life, Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Building, at 3109 N. Charles Street is a state-of-the-art facility conveniently located across the street from campus, and a short walk from the Baltimore Museum of Art. The four story building, a warm and welcoming center for students, houses a variety of meeting rooms, a library, offices for staff and students, a Kosher kitchen and dining room, and comfortable lounge space for study, informal meetings and schmoozing. The Smokler Center houses the Sonneborn Judaica collection and is the host to many Hopkins University programs and classes.

Smokler_BuildingDuring the school year, The Smokler Center for Jewish Life is open seven days a week:
9am – 10pm: Sunday to Friday
9am – 9pm: Saturday

In June and early August, the Smokler Center is open 9am – 3pm Monday-Thursday.

The Smokler Center is closed during the month of July.
