Austin is excited to join the Johns Hopkins Hillel community as Operations Manager. He is a recent graduate of neighboring Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in communication studies. While at Towson, Austin was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi, the Jewish Fraternity. This past year Austin traveled to Israel for his first time with Towson’s Hillel on Birthright. He has a passion for the Jewish community, as evidenced by his commitment in leadership roles with AZA BBYO to his AEPI fraternity, and has maintained a strong sense of his Jewish identity. In his spare time, Austin participates in Type One Diabetes education and fundraising for clinical trials and research. He is also active in hiking, exercising and spending time with family, friends, and his 14 year old dog Ozzy.
