Dear First-Year Students,
My name is Noam Bentov and I am the Executive Director of Hopkins Hillel. I am thrilled to welcome you to Baltimore and to our Hopkins Hillel Family. Our strong student leaders are planning great programs and exciting events for you. I personally look forward to getting to know you and working with you to create a inspiring and engaging Jewish community – a home away from home for all students.
To kick off a typical year, all new students and their families would be invited to join our staff and students for a free Shabbat dinner and bagel brunch. That said, with the uncertainty during these unprecedented times, we are unsure if we will be start the year with these events. As soon as our plans are finalized, you will be the first to know. Please take a few minutes to share some information about your new student and your family, so we can support them as they transition to college life. Parents, if you are looking to get involved in our community please consider joining our Parents Network.
On behalf of the entire Hillel staff and student leadership, welcome to Hopkins Hillel! If there is anything that Hillel can do for you as you get acclimated to college life, please let us know.
Enjoy the rest of the summer. I look forward to meeting you very soon.
