She/her/hers

Rachel Gordon was born and raised in West Orange, NJ. After graduating high school and completing her freshman and sophomore years of college at The University of Pittsburgh (where she was super involved in Hillel!) She decided to move to Israel and join the Israeli Defense Forces. Rachel spent two incredible years in the Air Force where she became even more excited and passionate about Israel and Israeli culture. After finishing her service, Rachel came home to finish school and earned a B.A. in Disability Studies. She earned her M.A. in Leadership in Jewish Education and Communal Service at Towson University. Aside from all-things-Israel, Rachel likes to spend time rooting for the Yankees, fishing, and watching reruns of Law & Order, The Office, and crazy reality shows.

Rachel is beyond psyched to be the Director of Engagement and Israel Programing at JHU-Hillel so she can help students learn about, engage with, and visit Israel and connect with Jewish life.
